Our Story
Before we ever dreamed of raising Ragdolls, we dreamed of becoming veterinarians. Animals have always been at the center of our lives, and while we didn’t end up working in a clinic, we built something just as meaningful. Today, we care for a small, happy menagerie—chickens, fish, snakes, a dog, and of course, our Ragdolls. We live hands-on, farm-style lives where every animal is seen, known, and loved. It’s a life of daily caretaking, connection, and lots of furry (and feathery) companionship.
Ragdolls haven’t always been a part of our lives. In fact, we didn’t even know about them until we met Frank—the friendly Ragdoll who lived in our neighborhood. Frank wasn’t just a cat. He was a greeter, a cuddler, a quiet shadow who followed us with affection and curiosity. We had always considered ourselves dog people, but Frank turned that on its head. We became cat people—Ragdoll people.
It wasn’t long before we welcomed our own Ragdoll, Jelly Bean, into our family. He quickly became the heart of our home: gentle, playful, and endlessly sweet. Through him, we discovered just how special the Ragdoll breed really is. That’s when we knew—we wanted to share this experience with others. So we made the leap and founded Aurora Ragdolls.
Ours is a small, family-run cattery based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. With our two daughters, Elliott and Chloe, we care for our cats together, every single day. This is truly a family venture. From early-morning feedings to late-night cuddles, from scooping litter to belly rubs and playtime—everyone has a role. Some parts of the job are messy, but the love we receive from our cats makes every bit of it worthwhile.

Health-First Philosophy
Every breeding cat at Aurora Ragdolls is health-tested and vet-checked to ensure we’re producing strong, healthy kittens. We screen for more than 40 genetic conditions, including HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease), and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).
These tests ensure that our Ragdoll kittens come from the healthiest possible bloodlines. We’re committed to raising beautiful, affectionate, and genetically sound Ragdolls for families who want a truly special companion.

Pet-Only Homes
All kittens from Aurora Ragdolls are sold as pet-only, and no breeding rights are offered. Each kitten will be altered (spayed or neutered) before leaving us.
Delivery Options
While we love meeting families in person, we understand that travel isn’t always possible. We’re proud to offer professional flight nanny services to hand-deliver your kitten safely and stress-free to your nearest major airport.
Delivery fees vary based on location and are billed separately from the cost of your kitten.
