The Cats Behind Every Litter
Every Kitten Begins With Its Parents
The cats at the heart of our program — how they're chosen, and how they live.
Companions First
Every Aurora kitten begins with its parents — their health, their temperament, and the gentle, people-loving nature the Ragdoll breed is known for.
That's why the cats at the heart of our program are chosen with so much care — and loved as companions first and foremost.
Chosen With Intention
Our breeding cats are selected for the things that matter most in a lifelong companion:
Temperament
The calm, affectionate, people-focused personality that makes a Ragdoll a Ragdoll.
Health
Screened for 40+ genetic conditions, so kittens start life on the strongest possible foundation.
Type
True-to-standard Ragdoll structure, silky coats, and those unmistakable blue eyes.
We believe confident, well-loved parents raise confident, well-adjusted kittens. Our cats aren't just part of a breeding program — they share our home and our daily lives.
They're Family, First and Always
Our kings and queens aren't "breeding cats" to us — they're our pets, our companions, and members of our family, loved every bit as much as the kittens we send home. We know their names, their quirks, and their favorite spots by heart. They nap in sunny windows and warm laps, greet us in the mornings, follow us from room to room, and are spoiled with affection, play, and a home that's built around them.
And that love isn't separate from how we raise kittens — it's the whole foundation of it. A cat who feels safe and deeply cherished passes that same trust and gentleness on to her babies.
Everything a kitten becomes starts with a parent who knows what it feels like to be loved.

Watching a Mom Become a Mom
One of our very favorite things in the whole world is watching one of our girls become a mother. Ragdolls are such natural, devoted moms — the tenderness and patience they pour into their babies from the very first moment never stops amazing us, and we love nothing more than being there to support them through it.
What moves us most is how much they let us in. From the minute a kitten is born, our queens trust us completely — to gently step in and help if something's needed, or simply to sit close and be there beside them. They light up when we walk in, and they can't wait to show their babies off, nudging their little ones toward us as if they're proud to make the introduction.
Ashley is, in the truest sense, their doula. Being with a mama through labor — talking her through it, helping in whatever way she needs, and welcoming each new life into the world — is one of her very favorite parts of this whole journey.
That partnership, built on trust and love, is where every Aurora kitten's story begins.

A Story We Love
Lyric Waited for Us
Lyric was our first — the first kitten we raised in our own home, born to our queen Luna, and in time, one of our own queens. So when it was her turn to become a mama, it meant everything to us.
Ashley had been by her side all day and could tell she was close. But that afternoon, it was time to take our daughter to one of her activities. So Ashley sat down with Lyric and, honestly, had a talk with her:
"I know you're going to be an amazing mom, and I know you can do this on your own. I have to step out for about two hours. If you're ready, go ahead — you've got this. But if you'd rather wait, I'll be back, and I'll be right here with you every step of the way."
Then she left — watching over Lyric by camera the whole time. And Lyric just rested. Calm and quiet, waiting.
The moment Ashley walked back into the nursery —
"Okay, Lyric, I'm back. If you're ready, so am I."
— Lyric went into labor within minutes and delivered five healthy babies, back to back, like an absolute champion.
She had waited for Ashley to be there for her very first litter.
That trust is the whole thing — it's exactly what we mean when we say we do this together.
Temperament Starts With the Parents
A kitten's very first lessons come from its mother — how to feel safe, how to trust, how to be gentle. Because our queens and kings are calm, affectionate, and closely bonded to us, that steadiness is the first thing our kittens absorb. It's a big part of why the sweet, easygoing Ragdoll nature shows up so early in an Aurora kitten: they're raised by parents who model it every single day.
Kittens don't just inherit their temperament — they learn it.
The Values Behind Our Program
Raising exceptional kittens starts with exceptional care for the parents. Everything we do is built around health, temperament, and the wellbeing of every cat in our home.

Where Every Litter Starts
Every kitten we raise carries something of its parents — their health, their steadiness, and the trust they've grown up with.
