Aurora Family Stories

There's nothing we love more than seeing who our kittens become once they're home with their people — the sleeping spots they claim, the funny habits they develop, the way they quietly become the heart of a family. These are their stories, told by the families who love them.

Mina fights falling asleep so she can keep chasing a feather wand. She sleeps beside me on the bed, and when she gets too warm she finds a new spot — but never far, and she's always right back next to me by the time my alarm goes off, purring and pawing at my fingers until I have to get up.

Ruby, a Ragdoll cat from Aurora Ragdolls, at home with her family

We wanted a Ragdoll who'd eventually be big enough to play with our Maine Coon. We figured we'd have to wait for Ruby to grow up first — but she pounced on him the day she came out of isolation. They've been instant best friends ever since.

Sofie, a Ragdoll cat from Aurora Ragdolls, at home with her family

She loves sitting by the back door when it's open, listening to the birds chirp — then looking back at me. She'll snuggle for ages and then be perfectly aloof when she's decided she's done. She's playful and full of joy.

Aurora, a Ragdoll cat from Aurora Ragdolls, at home with her family

Her favorite toy is a little blue spring and she carries it with her everywhere. She follows Enzo around all day and cuddles with Freya at bedtime, and she sits beside me on the vanity while I get ready for work. She's a purring machine.
