Aurora kittens are raised in thoughtfully designed developmental spaces, and their world opens up in stages as they’re ready for it. Queens and their litters begin in quiet nurseries with nesting pods, where it’s calm and dim and there’s nothing to navigate but their mother. As kittens find their feet, they move into kitten rooms — still cozy and enclosed, sized so a wobbly kitten can explore every inch of it safely, with climbing structures, hammocks, scratching surfaces, and a rotating selection of enrichment toys.

Around nine weeks, when they’re steady enough for it, litters graduate to our sunroom playroom — bigger, busier, and part of the house. That’s where they meet everyday household life: footsteps, voices, the vacuum, other pets, and all the ordinary noise of a family going about its day. By the time they’re ready to leave, they’re confident in a real home, not just a nursery.

However far away you are, there’s a way to bring your kitten home. Local families pick up in person, free of charge, at a quiet spot nearby — we don’t host visits at the cattery, since a young kitten’s immune system is still fragile and their health comes first. Most drive in from around the Chattanooga area: Signal Mountain, Hixson, Soddy-Daisy, Red Bank, East Ridge, Ooltewah, Collegedale, and Cleveland, along with Fort Oglethorpe and Dalton just over the Georgia line.
We also deliver throughout the region — about three hours in any direction, which covers Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, and Knoxville. You can meet us partway at an easy stop along the route, or we’ll bring your kitten all the way to your door. Farther out, Ashley personally flies kittens to families across the country — always in the cabin, never as cargo.
