Your Journey to a Ragdoll Kitten Starts Here

We’re so excited to help you welcome your new furry family member! At Aurora Ragdolls, we make the reservation process simple, transparent, and personalized—ensuring each kitten is placed in a loving, well-prepared home.
Join the Waitlist or Choose Your Kitten
If kittens are currently available, you’ll be able to choose from posted photos and descriptions. If not, we encourage you to join our waitlist to be notified when litters are born. Waitlist families are given first choice in the order deposits are received.
Each kitten will be matched based on personality, color/pattern preferences, and your home environment. We’re here to help guide you to the perfect fit!
Place Your Deposit
To reserve a kitten, we require a non-refundable $500 deposit. This deposit goes toward the total cost of your kitten and secures your place in the pick order.
Final payment is due by 10 weeks of age or before delivery arrangements are made.
What Happens After You Join the Waitlist or Pay a Deposit?
We want to make the process of bringing home your new Ragdoll kitten as smooth and transparent as possible. Here’s a breakdown of the steps you’ll experience after you join our waiting list or place your deposit:
1. Join the Waitlist
Once you’ve joined the waitlist, you’ll receive updates on upcoming litters and the availability of kittens. Here’s the timeline of communication:
– Waitlist Notification: When a new litter is born, you’ll be notified via email with details on the litter, including the expected colors, patterns, and personalities of the kittens.
– Pick Order: Waitlist families are given priority based on the order in which deposits were received. This means you’ll have a first chance to choose from the kittens when they are ready.
2. Pay Your Deposit
Once you’ve selected a kitten or decided to place a deposit to hold your spot, here’s what happens next:
– Deposit Confirmation: After we receive your $500 non-refundable deposit, we will send you a confirmation email with the details of your reservation.
– Pick Order Notification: If a litter is available, we will let you know where you are in the pick order, which determines when you can choose your kitten.
3. Kitten Selection & Updates
As your kitten grows, we’ll send you regular updates on your kitten’s progress, including photos and videos. These updates help you get to know your kitten’s personality before bringing them home.
– Kitten Selection: Once your kitten reaches 6-8 weeks of age, it’s time for you to select your kitten based on availability and pick order. We’ll arrange a phone call or video chat to discuss any last details.
– Regular Communication: Throughout this time, we’ll stay in touch, answering any questions and making sure you’re prepared for your kitten’s transition to their new home.
4. Final Payment & Health Check
Before your kitten goes home, we will perform a final vet check, ensuring they are healthy and ready to join your family.
– Final Payment: The remaining balance is due by 10 weeks of age or before delivery arrangements are made. You’ll receive an invoice with your final payment details.
– Health Certificate: Your kitten will come with a health certificate, vaccination records, and other important paperwork to ensure their well-being.
5. Bringing Your Kitten Home
Once your kitten is ready for their new home:
– Delivery or Pickup: We’ll coordinate the best option for picking up your kitten or arrange for our flight nanny service if needed. All delivery fees will be settled at this stage.
– Ongoing Support: We’re always here for you! Whether you need advice on transitioning your kitten to their new home or have questions about care, we provide lifetime support to all of our families.
